The challenge

Sydney Health serves 19.5 million members but had grown into a 300-feature transactional app — used when required, trusted rarely. Elevance asked how it could become a care layer members actually rely on.

My role

Senior portfolio director and guide, shaping the strategic vision and stewarding the client relationship into its next phase.

The work

Research and competitive analysis distilled the platform’s future into four opportunity areas: Finding the Right Care, Removing Financial Surprises, Maximizing Value, and Enabling Collective Care Management. Prototypes made the distributed-care-layer vision tangible for executive alignment.

The impact

The strategy positioned a Phase 2 engagement — north star metric definition, MVP design, and design system development — now in active development with Elevance’s digital leadership.
